Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Saudi Arabia is seeking an Early Career Trainee to support grid projects and gain practical experience in customer project engineering within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in design reviews, site visits, and training while building technical and project execution skills for a reliable, resilient, and sustainable grid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Interest in substations, power systems, GIS, rotating machines, power plants, FACTS, or related infrastructure projects.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
• Good communication skills in English; ability to travel within Saudi Arabia as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities and deliverables in line with project requirements, technical specifications, applicable standards, and safety expectations.
• Assist with layouts, schematics, technical documents, bills of quantities, customer submissions, and follow-up of open engineering actions.
• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support coordination with customers, suppliers, site teams, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, clarification sessions, training, and site visits with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Contribute to quality, EHS awareness, Lean, and continuous improvement activities by sharing observations, lessons learned, and improvement ideas.
