Job summary

GE Vernova Grid Solutions is seeking an Early Career Trainee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will support high‑voltage GIS substation projects, develop technical and project execution skills, and work within a multicultural team to deliver safety‑conscious engineering deliverables.

The program targets fresh graduates with up to 2 years of experience and requires interest in power systems, fluent English, and readiness to travel within Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Interest in substations, power systems, GIS, rotating machines, power plants, FACTS, or related infrastructure projects.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to live and work in Riyadh and travel within Saudi Arabia as needed.
• The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities and deliverables in line with project requirements, technical specifications, applicable standards, and safety expectations.
• Assist with layouts, schematics, technical documents, bills of quantities, customer submissions, and follow‑up of open engineering actions.
• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support coordination with customers, suppliers, site teams, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, clarification sessions, training, and site visits with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Contribute to quality, EHS awareness, Lean, and continuous improvement activities by sharing observations, lessons learned, and improvement ideas.
