Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a Dry/Wet Utility Engineer to join our PMI division in Riyadh, Saudi.

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Managing and coordinating dry utilities (electricity, telecoms, fibre optics, street lighting) and wet utilities (water, wastewater, stormwater, irrigation).
  • Extensive experience in the execution stage, particularly in reviewing shop drawings, submittals and related documentation is a requirement.
  • Developing and implement measures to mitigate project‑related financial and business risks, in partnership with Project Managers/Project Directors.
  • Building technical capability of others and actively transferring technical expertise within the organization. Prepare proposals and conduct presentations to Clients where required.
  • Leading a team of professional employees, driving increased organizational performance and achievement of team goals.
  • Analysing existing work processes, procedures and systems, identifying opportunities for increased efficiencies, cost‑effectiveness and service improvements.
  • Anticipating and objectively and systematically analysing and resolving complex problems.
  • Effective preparation, planning and control of financial budgets and team resources in order to deliver required commercial outcomes.
  • Liaising with utility providers, authorities, consultants, and contractors to secure approvals, connections, and diversions.
  • Reviewing and approving utility designs, drawings, and method statements.
  • Coordinate utility works with overall project schedules to avoid clashes and delays.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and local authority regulations.
  • Monitoring installation works on site to ensure quality, safety, and technical compliance.
  • Identifying and resolving utility conflicts and constraints during design and construction phases.
  • Supporting permit applications, NOCs, and utility agreements as required.
Qualifications
