Job summary

H. M. Al Rugaib & Sons Trading Co. - شركة حمد محمد الرقيب و أولاده التجارية is seeking a delivery driver to manage deliveries with accuracy, handle customer interactions, and ensure timely completion of orders in a busy, on-site environment in Saudi Arabia.

The role involves loading/unloading, safe driving, keeping the vehicle clean and well-maintained, and coordinating with management on delivery schedules. Strong customer service and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Keeps accurate records of deliveries and customer authorization and ensure all documentation is submitted to management on time.
• Loading, transporting and delivering items to clients or business in a safe timely manner
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, the customer is satisfied.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• May have to lift heavy products.
• Drives safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Keeps company vehicle clean and ensure it is well-maintained, has fuel, oil and is ready to drive.
• Communicates with customers by phone to update them of time of deliveries if there have been issues or changes to their estimated time of arrival.
• Maintains communication with management to be informed of any change of delivery, route or schedule.
• Insure all delivery equipment is available before leaving the designated location.
