Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Drilling Services Applications Engineer in Saudi Arabia to lead well construction applications, from pre-planning through post-job analysis, partnering with service delivery teams to meet client objectives.

The role requires 7+ years in oil and gas, 3+ years in application engineering, and readiness to travel to rig sites and facilities. On-call duties and strong P/L awareness are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in oil and gas.
• Minimum 3 years of application engineering experience within well construction.
• Experience with Baker Hughes as an application engineer in Well Construction.
• Ability to travel to rig sites and customer facilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the MtJC process and manage the Job Cycle.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery Coordinator/Sales to understand client objectives.
• Design well profiles and perform applications engineering tasks including risk and contingency plans.
• Address field incidents and provide sales support and product recommendations.
