Job summary

Saudi Aramco is seeking a Downstream Pricing Analyst in Saudi Arabia to develop and enhance price forecast visualization tools, compute transfer prices, and coordinate with pricing insights and economists. The role requires extensive data analytics experience and strong cross-functional collaboration.

You will gather forward-curve data, freight costs and market premia, daily and monthly, to support timely price decisions and negotiations across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Statistics, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration or closely related subject.
• Post-graduate education or MBA/Statistics/Economics is desirable.
• Deep knowledge of model development and MS Excel functions.
• Detailed understanding of downstream business and supply chain.
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in oil & gas downstream, incl. 3+ years in data analytics, market research or business planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve price forecast visualization tools.
• Consult with Pricing Insights and Market Analysis teams and Asset Economists to gather information on global events and trends.
• Gather data from forward curves, market premia/discounts, freight costs and transfer price components.
• Compute transfer prices daily for M till M+3 according to the planning cycle.
• Coordinate with AEs and market insights for review and validation of prices.
• Issue price forecasts weekly to AEs and support negotiations among stakeholders.
• Issue actual transfer prices on the last day of the month for the following month.
• Perform lookbacks of forecasting quality and identify trends.
• Perform random checks and assist accounting to maintain price quality on cargoes.
