Job summary

KEO International Consultants in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Director of Architecture & Engineering to lead the Design team and drive project delivery with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

The role requires strategic leadership, mentorship, and cross-department collaboration within a global firm that supports mobility and development opportunities, including hybrid working arrangements and study sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains positive professional relations with current and prospective Clients.
• Coordinates marketing and business development activities, including technical/financial inputs.
• Ensures project execution with client satisfaction and company returns through effective staff management.
• Plans and controls Architecture Department operations to align with project plans.
• Provides design guidance and technical oversight to Architecture Staff for project design and documentation.
• Implements project-specific quality assurance to meet high international standards.
• Alerts leadership to potential issues affecting targets, budgets, or delivery.
• Ensures staff comply with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinates with other departments for project support.
• Develops staff capabilities and training needs.
• Manages resources and documentation systems for Architecture.
• Shares knowledge of best practices and current trends in Architecture.
• Establishes workforce plans with Project Manager for project integration.
• Reviews project performance and recommends action to meet targets.
• Participates in technical performance reviews of teams and staff.
• Ensures availability of technical resources and a robust library for Architecture staff.
