Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company seeks a Director, Geospatial Governance to lead the GIS team and own the Esri Enterprise platform, including ArcGIS Server, SDE, and related services. The role drives governance, data stewardship, and platform performance across the enterprise.

You will set strategic direction, establish standards, and collaborate with CIO and operations to advance digital twin initiatives, BIM integration, and asset management through geospatial technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geomatics, Surveying, Geography, Information Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10-15 years' experience in GIS, geospatial information management, or enterprise spatial systems.
• Minimum 5-10 years' experience in leadership and people management roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing enterprise GIS environments and large-scale geospatial programs.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership: define and drive the enterprise geospatial strategy, governance, and capabilities.
• Governance: establish enterprise GIS governance frameworks, data stewardship, and change control.
• Platform ownership: act as business owner for Esri Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, SDE, and related services.
• Data quality: implement QA/QC, validation, and auditing of geospatial data assets.
• Delivery & integration: ensure digital delivery, integration with BIM/CAD systems, and interoperability across platforms.
• Team leadership: lead, mentor, and develop the GIS team and manage external partners.
• Stakeholder engagement: communicate with executives and business units on geospatial initiatives.
