Job summary

GDC Middle East is seeking a Deputy Director, Facilities Maintenance to lead day-to-day operations of the Directorate, guiding system evaluations, process improvements, and implementation of new procedures. The role requires aviation facilities expertise, staff mentorship, and alignment with OPM-SANG guidance.

The incumbent will direct personnel, administrative, and financial functions, oversee recruitment, and develop strong working relationships with OPM-SANG and MNG Maintenance to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent FM experience.
• Ten years’ experience as a manager or military equivalent.
• Experience with FM PWS requirements and aviation facilities context.
• Experience in airfield management, training development, operations, aviation maintenance and aviation logistics supply chain management.
• Knowledge of military staff organization policies and procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day activities of the Directorate’s operations and oversees design and implementation of new processes.
• Evaluates current and proposed systems, processes, and procedures; implements changes as needed.
• Provides SME based on aviation facilities experience; leads and mentors subordinate managers.
• Oversees recruitment, staffing, and organizational structure; assigns tasks and accountability.
• Develops relationships with OPM-SANG and MNG Maintenance; aligns strategies with resources.
• Represents the Directorate in strategic planning and ensures contract deliverables (CDRL) are met.
