Job summary

GDC ME in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, seeks a Director of Facilities Management to oversee day-to-day operations of the Directorate, evaluate systems, and drive efficient processes in aviation facilities.

The role requires 10+ years in management or military, with experience in airfield operations, training development, maintenance and logistics, and strong MS Office skills. Saudi labor law compliance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent FM experience.
• Minimum ten years' experience in management or military equivalent.
• Experience in airfield management, training development, operations, aviation maintenance and aviation logistics.
• Knowledge of military staff policies and procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of MNG and OPM-MNG procedures.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day activities of the Directorate's operations.
• Evaluates current and proposed systems, processes, and procedures.
• Directs changes and oversees new process implementation.
• Provides subject matter expertise in aviation facilities.
• Leads, mentors, and supervises subordinate managers.
• Supports strategic planning and aligns Directorate strategies with resources.
• Directs personnel, administrative, and financial functions.
• Follows guidance from OPM-SANG.
