Job summary

Confidential Government in Riyadh is seeking a senior finance leader to shape and execute the company’s financing strategy, including debt, equity, and project financing. You will oversee structuring, negotiations, and closings, balancing funding availability with cost and risk.

Requires 12+ years in corporate or project finance, leadership experience, and strong Arabic/English communication. Saudi market and Islamic financing knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• MBA preferred; CFA/CPA or equivalent qualification an advantage.
• 12+ years in corporate/structured/project finance, investment banking, or related fields.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role managing financing activities and transactions.
• Strong knowledge of debt financing, capital markets, financial modeling, credit analysis, and financing documentation.
• Experience with real estate development or other capital-intensive sectors preferred.
• Strong understanding of Saudi financing market and Islamic financing structures.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the corporate financing strategy in line with business plans and cash flow needs.
• Assess funding requirements and propose debt, equity, and structured solutions.
• Oversee origination, structuring, negotiation, and execution of financing transactions.
• Evaluate and optimize capital structure, funding costs, and debt maturity profile.
• Build relationships with banks, lenders, investors, and rating agencies.
• Maintain financial models assessing debt capacity and covenant headroom.
• Negotiate terms, covenants, and security with Legal and stakeholders.
• Manage due diligence, documentation, and financial close of financing.
• Monitor covenants, drawdown conditions, and repayment schedules.
• Coordinate with Treasury on liquidity forecasts and cash management.
