Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Digital Transformation Advisory Lead in Riyadh to guide executives in shaping, governing, and optimizing enterprise transformation portfolios. You will drive governance, roadmaps, and cross-functional delivery across cloud, AI, automation, and data initiatives.

You will partner with transformation leaders and business stakeholders, lead steering committees, and enable enterprise-wide transformation through Agile, hybrid, and product-based delivery methods.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in portfolio and program management within large-scale transformation environments.
• Proven success governing digital transformation portfolios across multiple initiatives and functions.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and product-based delivery at scale.
• Engages executive stakeholders and provides decision support for transformation initiatives.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, ClickUp, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Establish and govern the enterprise digital portfolio aligned with strategy and benefits realization.
• Maintain governance, roadmaps, PMO/DTMO standards, intake, prioritization, and risk management.
• Oversee Digital Factory initiatives from MVPs to scaled solutions and drive delivery excellence.
• Lead steering committees and portfolio reviews with executive dashboards and insights.
• Enable cloud, AI, data, automation, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

As our new Digital Transformation Advisory Lead, you will guide executive leaders in shaping, governing, and optimizing enterprise digital transformation portfolios. Operating at the intersection of strategy, DTMO governance, and emerging technology advisory, you will help organizations make informed investment decisions, accelerate transformation outcomes, and build sustainable digital, data, AI, and automation capabilities that deliver long-term business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio & Transformation Governance
  • Establish and govern the enterprise digital portfolio, ensuring alignment with business strategy, transformation priorities, funding models, and benefits realization.
  • Maintain portfolio governance, roadmaps, and PMO/DTMO standards, including intake management, prioritization, stage-gates, reporting, risk management, and dependency tracking.
• Digital Factory Delivery Oversight
  • Oversee the delivery of Digital Factory initiatives, from MVPs and pilots to scaled solutions across the organization.
  • Drive adoption of Agile, hybrid, and product-based delivery practices while monitoring delivery performance, managing dependencies, and acting as an escalation point for risks, blockers, and capacity constraints.
• Strategic Stakeholder & Executive Management
  • Partner with executives, transformation leaders, and business stakeholders to drive alignment, governance, and enterprise decision-making.
  • Lead steering committees and portfolio reviews, providing executive dashboards and insights on progress, value realization, risks, corrective actions, and accountability.
• Digital Transformation Enablement
  • Enable enterprise transformation initiatives across cloud modernization, AI, automation, data platforms, and core business systems.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration while driving transformation best practices, knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and continuous improvement.
• Delivery & Agile-at-Scale Advisory
  • Advise on Agile, hybrid, and product-based delivery approaches at portfolio and enterprise scale, supporting successful transformation outcomes.
  • Assess delivery maturity, capacity, velocity, and dependency management, recommending corrective actions to improve portfolio and program performance.

Job Requirements

• Extensive experience in portfolio and program management, ideally within PMO, DTMO, Digital Factory, or other large-scale transformation environments.
• Proven success governing digital transformation portfolios across multiple initiatives, stakeholders, and business functions.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, hybrid, and product-based delivery models, with the ability to apply them at scale.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders, providing decision support and guiding strategic transformation initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with portfolio and delivery management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, ClickUp, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Solid background in RFP management, vendor evaluation, partner governance, and managing third-party relationships.
• Exposure to digital, data, AI, automation, and cloud transformation initiatives, as well as enterprise solutions spanning web, mobile, integration, and collaboration platforms.
