Business Unit: Cubic Defense
Job Summary
This role will provide operations and maintenance for the P4-SAKITS Display/Debriefing Systems in accordance with the applicable technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Load programs for operation and test.
- Perform subsystem test to assess operational readiness.
- Load all pre‑mission exercise data into the Data Transfer Device (DTD).
- Maintain a control log of DTD issues to and receipt from aircrews.
- Operate the graphics terminals during live exercises and assist with display and control operations.
- Provide technical assistance to RSAF or aircrews in setting up for replay/debriefing.
- Maintain and store records of mission tapes.
- Maintain a mission event log with date, time, mission/event, remarks, and operator.
- Enter “mission replay” for replays and describe system problems in the remarks column.
- Note any aircraft that does not track or function properly and report it to the P4‑SAKITS pod shop.
- File all filled log books into the technical library and keep them readily available for RSAF evaluations.
- Interface directly with the RSAF regarding mission sortie effectiveness and record reasons for partial or unsuccessful missions.
- Generate exercise status printouts as required by RSAF and activate display for hard‑copy printing when needed.
- Perform additional operations duties as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Assist with P4‑SAKITS F‑15 operations and maintenance as required.
- Work as a team and support colleagues when needed to ensure successful provision of service.
- Support the set‑up of project equipment when required.
- Comply with Cubic’s values and all company policy and procedures, including code of conduct, quality, security, and occupational health, safety and environmental policies.
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager from time to time.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Arabic/English bilingual proficiency.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to comply with the company’s standard practice as it applies to field assignments.
- College qualification in a technical related field, or equivalent technical education and military experience.
- Desirable qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Computer Engineering or equivalent concentrations; Saudi‑Government‑recognized certificate of Arabic/English bilingual proficiency (STEP, TOEFL or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Diligent, detail‑oriented and self‑motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
- Team‑player who can work independently and on own initiatives.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
