Job summary

Seder Group Trading and Contracting in Riyadh is seeking a diesel generator technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults and ensure reliable standby power. The role involves hands-on work across multiple generator brands, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

You will monitor fuel levels, oil pressure and coolant temperature, conduct routine maintenance, respond to alarms, and log all activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with various brands and models of diesel generators.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, multimeters and hand/power tools for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Strong understanding of diesel engine principles, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and resolve generator issues under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operational checks to verify the generator’s readiness and identify any potential problems before starting operation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and technical manuals to restore generator functionality.
• Hold relevant certifications such as Certified Diesel Mechanic or equivalent industry-recognized credentials.
