Job summary

Laith IT Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer with GitHub expertise to lead Bitbucket-to-GitHub migration initiatives and build robust CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on automation, deployment automation, and modern DevOps practices across multiple projects in Riyadh.

You will collaborate with software developers, QA, and project stakeholders to streamline delivery, ensure secure and reliable deployments, and drive operational excellence within an onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in enterprise or product development.
• Strong hands-on experience with GitHub administration and repository management.
• Demonstrated experience migrating Bitbucket to GitHub.
• Experience supporting custom software product development and engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts, tools, and deployment automation.
• Expertise in source code management, version control workflows, and branching strategies.
• Experience implementing DevOps best practices across lifecycles.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bitbucket to GitHub migration projects, including planning, migration, validation, and post-migration support.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
• Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies, workflows, permissions, and governance.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and release management.
• Support custom product development initiatives through DevOps tooling and automation.
• Automate build, testing, deployment, and monitoring processes to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance in DevOps workflows.
• Maintain technical documentation and infrastructure configurations.
• Promote DevOps culture and continuous improvement across engineering teams.
