Job summary

ASMO in Saudi Arabia is seeking a logistics professional to facilitate communication and coordination across supply chain stages. The role focuses on ensuring a healthy, efficient flow of goods and information from origin to destination.

You will execute network and transport planning, manage daily shipments, and provide performance insights to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Strong English skills and a high-school or diploma qualification are required, with 0-5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.
• 0-5 years’ experience in similar or related field.
• Diploma or high school education required; professional certification recommended could be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Execute network & transport planning and design operations to enable fast, reliable shipment of goods.
• Manage daily shipment execution and monitor operational exceptions.
• Ensure shipment debriefs and POD documentation are captured in the system.
• Support end-to-end transport operations including stock-keeping and delivery.
• Track budget performance and coordinate financial alignment with units.
• Prepare performance reports to drive continuous improvement and report to stakeholders.

Role Purpose

The role holder is responsible for facilitating effective communication and coordination between the Destination stages of our supply chain. The role holder is also responsible to ensure a healthy and efficient flow of goods and information throughout the supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

• Execute network & transport planning/design operations plans and processes to provide fast, reliable, efficient and affordable transportation/ shipment of goods from origin to destination, meet customer and market-specific requirements in line with the business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies
• Manage daily shipment execution, proactively monitoring and resolving operational exceptions.
• Ensure complete shipment debriefs, including reason codes and POD documentation captured in Control Tower.
• Execute end-to-end transport operations covering shipment movement, stock-keeping, and delivery.
• Track budget performance, analyze variances, and coordinate financial alignment with business units.
• Support operational reviews and prepare performance reports to drive continuous improvement.
• Assist commercial teams with transport cost estimates and customer solution development.
• Conduct transport analysis and contribute to network optimization, consolidation studies, and decision-support reporting.
• Identify operational issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency, control costs, and enhance service performance.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
• Implement all relevant Department’s policies, processes, procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet departmental requirements, policies and standards.

Knowledge & Experience
