Job summary

WSP is seeking a Design Manager - Structural & Civil to lead the design and delivery of major development projects. You will oversee structural and civil engineering design activities, ensuring coordination, practicality, and alignment with project objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 15+ years of experience on large-scale mixed-use, residential, commercial, or hospitality schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience on large-scale mixed-use, residential, commercial, or hospitality developments.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural and civil engineering consultants and design deliverables.
• Review engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate interfaces between buildings, infrastructure, utilities, and public realm elements.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, risk workshops, and value engineering exercises.
• Monitor consultant performance and programme commitments.
• Support technical decision-making throughout design development.
• Coordinate engineering inputs across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Assist with tender reviews and construction support activities when required.
