Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Design Manager for on-site leadership in Riyadh. You will lead the Design Team, supervise works from development to site execution and coordinate with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure the approved design is implemented.

The role requires regular site attendance, oversight of FF&E projects, and ensuring compliance with drawings and quality standards across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• 15-20 years of relevant experience, including solid experience in a Design Manager role and Site Supervision.
• Strong experience in design management, interior fit-out and FF&E projects.
• Proven experience supervising design teams and following design execution on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, supervise the Design Team and the Works execution on site.
• Manage design deliverables, coordination and approvals across multiple projects.
• Review design drawings, specifications, materials and technical submissions.
• Oversee FF&E projects, including design development, material selection, procurement coordination, installation and handover.
• Attend sites regularly to monitor and supervise the execution of the approved design.
• Ensure the contractor’s work complies with the approved drawings, specifications, materials and required quality standards.
• Follow up with contractors on design-related matters and resolve site issues in coordination with the relevant disciplines.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, mock-ups and RFIs.
• Coordinate architectural, interior design, MEP and specialist requirements.
