Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager to oversee the design, coordination, and integration of MEP systems across building projects. You will manage consultants and interfaces with stakeholders from concept through construction, ensuring compliance and quality.

The role requires 10–15 years in MEP design with at least 3 years in management, and proven experience on hospitality or leisure projects. PMC experience, BIM workflows, and Navisworks proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in MEP design and coordination, with ≥3 years in management.
• Experience delivering large hospitality or leisure projects.
• PMC experience required; familiarity with BIM workflows and clash detection (Navisworks).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the MEP design process across all project stages—concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction.
• Coordinate between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines for integrated designs.
• Review and approve MEP documents, calculations, specs, and drawings for quality and compliance.
• Manage external MEP consultants and internal teams to meet goals and timelines.
• Ensure designs comply with local codes, international standards, and sustainability requirements.
• Oversee design submissions, technical reports, and authority approvals.
• Facilitate design workshops, technical meetings, and value engineering sessions.
• Support procurement by providing input during tender reviews and supplier evaluations.
• Resolve technical issues during construction and provide site support.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis seeks an MEP Design Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the design, coordination, and integration of MEP systems within building projects. This role ensures that MEP designs meet all technical, regulatory, and project requirements from concept through construction, while managing consultants, and stakeholder interfaces.

Your role

• Lead and manage the MEP design process across all project stages—concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 10-15 years of experience in MEP design and coordination, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale hospitality or leisure projects (hotels, resorts, entertainment venues).
• Previous PMC experience is a must
• Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and relevant design and coordination tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Certification or membership in relevant professional bodies
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and clash detection platforms (e.g., Navisworks)
