Job summary

Buro Happold Limited in Saudi Arabia invites a Design Manager to lead project design management across major building, infrastructure and masterplanning initiatives. Based in Riyadh (or Jeddah), you will guide multidisciplinary design teams, coordinate global delivery resources and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, client-facing skills and a deep understanding of BIM, Revit, BIM 360/ACC

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the complete design lifecycle and stage-based delivery.
• Experience delivering building, infrastructure and/or masterplanning projects.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations across locations.
• Experience working in a BIM environment (Revit, BIM 360/ACC, Navisworks).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams across project lifecycle.
• Manage design development, interfaces and information flow.
• Lead design coordination meetings and action closure.
• Oversee BIM coordination and digital delivery processes.
• Prepare project reports and design status updates for stakeholders.
• Support value engineering and design optimisation.
• Collaborate with project leaders to ensure outcomes.
