Qualifications

WJ Saudi Ltd is looking for a Design, Estimation & Sales Engineer to join our Pumps Division. This role is ideal for an engineer who not only understands pump system design and estimation but can also support client engagement, technical sales, and tender opportunities.

Location: Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities

• Study project scope, drawings, BOQs, and client requirements
• Design overpumping systems based on site conditions and hydraulic calculations
• Select suitable pumps, pipelines, fittings, and accessories
• Prepare technical and commercial estimations for tenders and enquiries
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings and technical submittals
• Coordinate with suppliers for quotations and technical compliance
• Conduct site visits for assessment and data collection
• Provide technical support to clients and participate in meetings
• Assist in identifying new project opportunities and client requirements
• Support preparation of proposals, quotations, and follow-ups with clients
• Work closely with the sales and operations team to convert enquiries into projects
• Provide technical clarifications during project execution

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in pump systems, overpumping, or water transfer projects
• Experience in technical sales or client coordination is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics and pump selection
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation preparation
• Ability to read drawings and BOQs accurately
• Strong analytical, technical, communication, and negotiation skills
