Job summary

ISM is seeking a Design & Development Engineer-ISM in Jeddah to drive new designs from concept to validated prototypes. You will manage design revisions, verifications, and maintain CAD servers, licenses and data integrity.

The role requires 3+ years in mechanical design with SolidWorks/AutoCAD experience, and fluency in English and Arabic. You will oversee designers and help optimize production methods in a steel fabrication context.

Qualifications

• Educational background in mechanical engineering with technical college diploma/degree.
• Understanding of product development from concept to production.
• Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing/assembly design.
• Written and spoken English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Lead design from concept to prototype validation and testing.
• Maintain design resources and data backups, licenses, standards.
• Develop design processes and automate where possible.
• Mentor and train the design team.
