Job summary

Takeda in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Medical Affairs professional to lead scientific dialogue and external engagement within Psoriasis/Dermatology. You will generate insights from interactions, support evidence projects, and educate internal teams.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure compliant, high-quality medical activities and strategic alignment with regional priorities. Fluency in English is required, travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related healthcare discipline.
• 3–5 years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong scientific knowledge in Psoriasis and/or Dermatology.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia/GCC healthcare environment preferred; GCC psoriasis preferred.
• Ability to operate independently and engage external experts.
• Experience in pre-launch/launch Medical Affairs is preferred.
• Solid understanding of healthcare regulations, GCP/GVP, and compliance.
• Fluent in English; local language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the scientific and medical expert for the assigned therapeutic area.
• Establish and maintain credible, compliant relationships with KOLs, HCPs, institutions, and societies.
• Generate and translate medical insights to support priorities and decision-making.
• Support evidence generation activities and medical projects, including studies and real-world evidence.
• Develop and deliver scientific training and educational programs for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Therapy Area Leads and other teams.
• Understand patient journeys and healthcare ecosystems to improve outcomes.
• Leverage data and digital tools to enhance medical impact.
• Ensure activities comply with laws, regulations and Takeda policies.
