Job summary

Retal Urban Development Company is looking for a Projects Manager responsible for managing and coordinating real estate development projects. The successful candidate will assist in planning, execution, and completion of projects ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related fields and 10-15 years of relevant experience. Strong project management skills and knowledge of local building regulations in Saudi Arabia are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in project management or construction management, preferably in real estate development.
• Knowledge of project management principles, practices, and techniques.
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and zoning ordinances in Saudi Arabia.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Support/Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate the activities of project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Monitor project expenses and track progress against budget.
• Track project progress and identify potential delays.
• Assist in the identification and mitigation of project risks.
• Assist in the administration of contracts with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
• Identify and resolve project‑related problems in a timely and effective manner.
• Prepare regular progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Ensure that projects comply with all applicable building codes, regulations, and zoning ordinances in Saudi Arabia.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure that all construction activities are carried out safely.
• Assist in the project handover process, ensuring that projects are completed and handed over to clients in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure that all development projects are culturally sensitive and appropriate for the Saudi Arabian market.
