Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group seeks a Market Director – Defense to drive strategy, growth, and client engagement across the Middle East. You will own market P&L, oversee revenue and profitability, and lead a high-performing team to expand defense capabilities with host nation ministries, OEMs, and DB contractors.

You will shape programs, build strategic partnerships, and represent the company at industry events while ensuring compliant, high-quality delivery across the region.

Qualifications

• Extensive Defence or Secure Government sector experience.
• Senior leadership with growth, P&L, and team leadership responsibilities.
• Track record of winning and delivering major programmes and strategic pursuits.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to manage risk and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Defense market strategy for the Middle East.
• Build and sustain senior executive relationships with host nation ministries, OEMs and DB contractors.
• Own market P&L, forecast, pipeline management, and ensure delivery excellence.
• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing, inclusive team.
• Identify regional growth opportunities and contribute to major bids and pursuits.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline

Master’s degree (MBA or relevant field)

Professional accreditation (CEng, PE, PMP)
