Job summary

Hilal Technology in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Datacenter Infrastructure Deployment Engineer for on-site duties. You will install, rack, and cable enterprise servers and storage, configure SAN/NAS, and deploy ToR switches within a spine-leaf topology.

You will also configure hypervisors and verify site readiness. Ideal candidates bring 3–5+ years of hands-on datacenter experience, strong expertise in compute and storage, and CCNA/CCNP Data Center credentials or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in physical datacenter infrastructure deployment or operations.
• Deep technical knowledge of enterprise compute, block/file storage solutions, and data center environments.
• Strong understanding of OSI layers, physical switching, firewalls, and data center topologies (CCNA/CCNP Data Center is a major plus).
• Exceptional hardware troubleshooting skills under tight timelines.
• Ability to collaborate with cross functional network, systems, and facilities teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, stack and cable enterprise-grade server chassis (Dell, HPE, Lenovo) and storage hardware.
• Configure and commission SAN/NAS arrays (Dell EMC, NetApp), fiber channel switches, and RAID layouts.
• Deploy ToR switches, integrate spine-leaf architectures, and manage physical connectivity.
• Execute low-level configurations via iDRAC/iLO/IPMI, set up hypervisors (VMware ESXi / KVM), and validate site readiness.
• Run diagnostic hardware testing, identify component failures, and ensure power, cooling, and cabling standards.
