NES Fircroft in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Data Steward for a 12-month contract to govern project data and support Digital Twin readiness. You will convert requirements into repeatable controls, coordinate with EPCC teams, and maintain data quality, lineage and custody across engineering databases.
The role emphasizes data governance, data quality checks, and timely handover readiness, with reporting on submissions and issues. Prior Oil & Gas project data experience is beneficial.
Required:- Strong Microsoft Excel capability for cleansing, reconciliation, formulas, queries & controlled bulk files. Ability to prepare dashboards & visual reporting using Power BI or equivalent tools. Practical understanding of data quality, data models, master/reference data, metadata, lineage & controlled exchange. Experience with AVEVA, Hexagon, Navisworks, engineering databases or Digital Twin platforms is an advantage. Ability to interpret engineering lists, tagging specifications, data requirements & contractor deliverables. Provide a consistent & traceable data set enabling Digital Twin use cases & downstream databases. Protect project data & preserve usability & maintainability through execution & handover. Ensure findings are evidenced, communicated, assigned & followed to verified closure. Escalate material data-quality, schedule, security or ownership risks promptly. Maintain an audit trail of submissions, checks, decisions, changes & approvals. Comply with HSE, information security, confidentiality & records-management requirements. Engineering, data management, information systems, maintenance, operations or a related technical qualification. Oil & Gas, petrochemical or major capital-project experience involving engineering data & technical databases. Experience with engineering authoring tools, EDMS, completion/commissioning systems, CMMS, maintenance or production databases.
Convert project data requirements into repeatable operational controls, coordinate data exchange with EPCC Contractors, maintain the integrity of the Digital Twin, & provide evidence-based visibility of data quality, progress, issues & readiness for handover.
