Job summary

Albawani is seeking a Data Infrastructure Supervisor to lead a technical team of data engineers, analysts, and external consultants. You will manage a robust data infrastructure using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, ensuring data governance, quality, and secure data operations across group subsidiaries.

You will coordinate ML deployments, assist with analytics best practices, and optimize cloud resources while collaborating with internal units and external vendors.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric or Power BI deployments.
• Experience supervising small teams or external consultants.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, or related field (relevant certifications/experience can add priority).

Role Purpose

Lead a technical team of data engineers, analysts, and external consultants to manage a robust data infrastructure using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. You will support enterprise machine learning/AI initiatives, enforce data governance, and deliver actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making across all group subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Assign daily work, track deliverables, provide technical mentorship, conduct performance reviews, and foster skill development.
• Data Infrastructure & Governance: Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion into Microsoft Fabric, ensure data quality and security, optimize pipeline performance, and manage workspaces.
• Analytics & BI Operations: Manage Power BI workspaces and access controls, support interactive dashboard development, and assist subsidiaries with analytics best practices.
• AI & Machine Learning Integration: Coordinate ML model deployments, integrate predictive outputs into operational workflows, and champion generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot).
• Vendor & Resource Management: Liaise with internal business units and external vendors, monitor cloud resource consumption/costs for backcharging, and drive efficiency improvements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric or Power BI deployments, along with experience supervising small teams or external consultants.
• Certifications: Microsoft Fabric or Power BI professional certification is highly desirable / required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, or a related field (relevant professional certifications and practical experience take priority).
