Job summary

Mind Stream is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. You will design, develop, and optimize enterprise data solutions, focusing on scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and robust data infrastructure to support analytics.

You will work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, leveraging Spark, Airflow, and modern data architectures to deliver reliable data platforms and impactful insights for the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for batch and streaming data processing.
• Experience using Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Strong understanding of Data Lake architectures and modern data engineering practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database design, modeling, and optimization.
• Experience with Git and Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL and ELT data pipelines.
• Build and optimize batch and streaming data processing solutions using Apache Spark.
• Develop and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.
• Design and maintain Data Lake architectures for enterprise-scale data management.
• Implement efficient data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes.
• Optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams using Git version control and Agile methodologies.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data platforms.
