Job summary

Tabby is hiring a Data Engineer to join our DWH Team, building our corporate data warehouse in the cloud with best practices for data processing and storage.

The role covers DWH development for business users, analysts and ML engineers, data synchronization, and ETL/ELT pipeline construction, with a focus on governance, quality, and cost optimization. Join a rapidly growing FinTech in the GCC region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• DWH development and maintenance experience.
• Architecture knowledge: Kimball, Inmon, Medallion, Data Mesh.
• Data modeling: SCD forms, Normal forms, Star Schema, Data Vault.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• DWH development and maintenance experience

• Python + best practice for Python
• SQL + best practice for SQL
• System design best practices
• Familiar with tech stack as Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, Clickhouse, PostgreSQL, Docker, GitLab(CI/CD), GCP
• Best practice for data processing and data storing
• Bonus skills REST API / GRPC API / Message brokers & Queues
• Experience on modern systems of data storing: Relational, MPP, NoSQL
• Experience on Google Cloud Platform
