Job summary

AVAR is seeking a Shift Technician - Mechanical in Saudi Arabia to support uninterrupted data centre operations onsite. You will perform PPM on mechanical and HVAC systems, troubleshoot faults, and respond to emergencies while adhering to HSE protocols and SOPs.

Qualifications

2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a data centre environment.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Ability to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) on data centre mechanical and HVAC systems.
Detect, troubleshoot, and repair faults in mechanical systems and equipment to minimize downtime.
Respond to emergency situations with rapid technical solutions to restore functionality.
Follow SOPs and comply with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) regulations and site safety protocols.
Communicate in English with colleagues, supervisors and vendors as required.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence in the data centre mechanical infrastructure.
Document all activities and report issues using maintenance management systems.
