Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Data Center Technician for an on-site freelance role to support critical infrastructure at world-class facilities. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network gear, perform structured cabling, and manage assets and documentation.

The position requires 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber), and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. On-call rotation and nights/weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Structured cabling (copper and fiber) familiarity.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
