Job summary

Deepsource Technologies is seeking an BI and Reporting Expert to transform raw enterprise data into interactive dashboards and executive reports. You will sit between IT and business leadership to drive data-informed decisions across the organization.

Responsibilities include designing enterprise-grade dashboards with Power BI/Tableau/Looker, building robust data models, and ensuring data quality and security across BI platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Advanced SQL proficiency.
• Experience with Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or SQL Server/SSAS.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst, Tableau Certified Data Analyst, or ITIL4 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise dashboards and automated reports.
• Architect data models using star and snowflake schemas and optimize DAX/SQL queries.
• Collaborate on ETL/ELT pipelines from ERPs/CRMs to data warehouses.
• Translate business requirements into KPI frameworks and dashboard specs.
• Enforce data governance and security with row-level access controls.

The BI amp Reporting Expert transforms complex raw enterprise data into actionable visual insights interactive dashboards and executive reporting solutions This role sits between IT infrastructure and business leadership to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization

Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard amp Report Development Design build and maintain enterprise-grade interactive dashboards and automated reports Power BI Tableau or Qlik Data Modeling
• Architecture Build robust star snowflake schemas optimize DAX SQL queries and manage data models for high performance ETL
• Data Integration Collaborate with data engineers to design and maintain automated ETL ELT pipelines from ERPs CRMs and SQL databases into data warehouses
• Business Stakeholder Management Translate complex business requirements into clear KPI frameworks executive summaries and functional dashboard specs
• Data Governance amp Security Enforce row-level security RLS data quality standards and access control policies across all BI platforms

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.

BI Tools:

• Mastery of Power BI (DAX, Power Query), Tableau, or Looker.

Database & Querying:

• Advanced SQL proficiency (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, procedure optimization).

Data Warehousing:

• Working experience with Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or SQL Server/SSAS.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), Tableau Certified Data Analyst, or ITIL4.
