Emerson in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Cybersecurity Service Engineer to provide technical service, installation, commissioning, and cybersecurity support for Emerson products. You will work on site with customers to improve system performance, reliability, and security posture through proactive guidance and hands-on engineering.
Responsibilities span maintenance, project execution, troubleshooting, on-site training, and collaboration with Sales Engineers.
The Cybersecurity Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical service, maintenance, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity support for Emerson products and solutions. This role serves as a focal point for customer technical support, service contracts, projects, and cybersecurity initiatives while helping customers improve system performance, reliability, and cybersecurity posture through proactive recommendations and technical expertise.
Perform routine maintenance and service activities in accordance with customer requirements.
Provide recommendations to customers on system improvements, cybersecurity enhancements, product upgrades, and system health checks.
Coordinate and execute assigned service projects and technical activities.
Perform startup, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, fault analysis, and repair activities on Emerson systems and products.
Investigate and resolve technical issues encountered at customer sites.
Support Sales Engineers in product demonstrations and customer presentations.
Assist customers in understanding product applications, cybersecurity best practices, maintenance requirements, and operational procedures.
Develop and implement system configuration changes to meet customer requirements.
Deliver customer training and on-site instruction related to operation, maintenance, and cybersecurity solutions.
Participate in on-call support rotations as required.
Maintain accurate service documentation, timesheets, site reports, and project records.
Ensure compliance with Emerson business processes, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5-6 years of experience in automation, control systems, industrial networking, or cybersecurity within process industries.
Strong knowledge of Emerson Process Systems and Solutions products.
Experience configuring and supporting industrial network switches and firewalls such as Cisco, Juniper, Dell, Siemens, Palo Alto, Hirschmann, or equivalent technologies.
Knowledge of Network Management Solutions such as WhatsUp Gold and SolarWinds.
Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware and Microsoft Hyper‑V.
Knowledge of Windows System Administration.
Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Acronis.
Experience with endpoint security solutions including Trellix, Symantec, Application Whitelisting, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
Experience with SIEM technologies including Trellix, Splunk, ArcSight, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of compliance monitoring and security assessment tools such as Tripwire.
Experience performing vulnerability assessments and interpreting cybersecurity findings.
Experience with Microsoft WSUS patch management solutions in both air‑gapped and non‑air‑gapped environments.
Strong understanding of Operational Technology (OT) networking and industrial control system cybersecurity.
Experience conducting control system network assessments and audits.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Industry certifications in cybersecurity, networking, virtualization, or Microsoft technologies.
Associate‑level certifications related to the services performed.
Experience supporting Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and best practices within process industries.
Valid driver's license.
Additional local language capability.
