Job summary

brains valley company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Cybersecurity Resilience Specialist for a full-time, on-site role. You will monitor and strengthen the organization’s security posture by assessing risks, designing and implementing controls, and ensuring resilience against evolving cyber threats across information systems and networks.

You will lead incident detection, response, and recovery activities and coordinate remediation efforts with IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in cybersecurity and information security; ability to assess risks and design controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of cybersecurity experience and threat management.
• Proficiency in network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, secure network design.
• Experience with application security, secure coding, testing, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Hands-on experience with incident detection, response, and recovery; log analysis and threat investigation.
• Knowledge of frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls) and regional regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s in CS/InfoSec; CISSP/CISM/CEH or equivalent are advantages.
• Experience in enterprise/government environments; familiarity with resilience planning.

Role Description The Cybersecurity Resilience Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The specialist will monitor and enhance the organization's security posture by assessing risks, implementing security controls, and ensuring resilience against emerging cyber threats. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing security events, managing incident response activities, coordinating vulnerability assessments, and supporting remediation efforts across applications, networks, and information systems. The role also involves developing and maintaining security policies and procedures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security into business processes, and preparing reports and recommendations for leadership. The specialist will contribute to security awareness initiatives and support compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with the ability to assess risks and design appropriate controls.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity and cybersecurity management.

• Experience working in enterprise or government environments and familiarity with resilience planning, business continuity, or disaster recovery is preferred.
