Job summary

Our client, a leading FMCG company in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an Assistant Manager, Customs Clearance for a 6-month temporary assignment in Jeddah. The role oversees end-to-end customs clearance, shipment coordination, documentation, broker performance, and regulatory follow-up.

You will collaborate with SFDA, brokers, warehouses, and finance teams to ensure timely clearance, resolve blockers, and maintain trackers for shipments and payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customs clearance or logistics.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
• Experience with clearing agents, warehouses, and regulatory authorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customs clearance and shipment coordination.
• Monitor shipment status, clearance, and delivery progress.
• Coordinate with clearing agents, SFDA, brokers, and warehouse teams.
• Maintain trackers for shipments, SFDA, containers, and payments.
• Lead daily operational reviews with agents and monitor KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
