Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is leading the CSU Engineering team for Expo 2030 Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. The CSU Lead Engineer supports testing, commissioning, O&M, and asset handover of infrastructure and systems, collaborating with consultants, contractors, and regulators to meet safety, quality, and budget targets.

The role partners with the Commissioning and Startup Manager to sequence activities, guide contractors, and oversee CSU phases, emphasizing safety, reporting, and collaborative stakeholder

Qualifications

• Knowledge of startup, commissioning, testing, and O&M.
• Strong understanding of engineering systems and calculations.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory criteria.
• MEP testing and commissioning experience is essential.
• Clear English communication and report-writing skills.
• Demonstrated supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractor personnel to support control commissioning activities.
• Coordinate and oversee contractor interface testing and test records.
• Review testing documentation and system test procedures for adequacy.
• Provide input to system descriptions and vendor manuals.
• Prepare CSU plans and update project controls for schedules.
• Coordinate with construction teams for turnover of systems and docs.
• Participate in system handover walkdowns with client and contractor teams.
