Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate crane according to safety regulations and instructions.
• Inspect crane before use to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Plan and execute lifting operations based on load weight, size, and location.
• Communicate effectively with team members on the ground via radio or hand signals.
• Maneuver crane into position using hand or foot controls.
• Monitor load movement and adjust controls as needed to maintain stability.
• Perform routine maintenance on crane as required.
• Record all lifting operations in log book for documentation purposes.

Requirements

• Valid license or certification as a Crane Operator from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3 years experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting.
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to crane operation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
