Job summary

KBR is hiring an Area Maintenance Manager – MFC (Cracker) in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia. You will lead maintenance across the Mixed Feed Cracker area, ensuring safe, reliable plant operations and effective execution of preventive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with planning and reliability groups, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance programs. Saudi nationals preferred; hands-on cracker experience is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years' experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical maintenance with a Diploma.
• Minimum 20 years' experience with a High School diploma.
• Minimum 10 years' experience with a Bachelor Degree in relevant field.
• Saudi Nationals Only; hands-on Ethylene Cracker/MFC unit maintenance mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of critical rotating equipment and process plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance activities for the MFC/Cracker area ensuring safe, reliable plant ops.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and rotating equipment maintenance.
• Ensure CMMS-driven reporting and maintenance planning effectiveness.
• Support planning, reliability teams, and turnarounds with optimization initiatives.
• Develop team capability through coaching and targeted on-job training.
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance teams and contractors with HSE compliance.
