Job summary

El-Takamol seeks a Cost Control Engineer in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role involves coordinating budgets, ensuring expenditure accuracy, and preparing project cost variance reports. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with experience in technical office concerns and cost control, preferably within the construction industry. Excellent Arabic and English communication skills are required. Familiarity with MS Project, Primavera Scheduling, and S.A.P. software is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in office work, documentation, and cost control.
• Related work experience preferably in Construction/Contracting Industry.
• Arabic - Native / Mother Tongue, English - Very Good

• Coordinate and develop appropriate control budgets consistent with project estimates.
• Ensure project total expenditure is monitored and reported accurately.

• EnsurethattheClientInvoicecapturedtheactualquantities.
• Coordinateordevelopappropriateinternalandexternalbenchmarkingandtechnicallimits.
• EnsurethattheCostControlSectionsubmitsinternalreportasperschem.
• PreparetheEnterprisePeriodicalReportforSub‑Contractor‑CostVariance.
• EnsureeffectiveprojectimplementationandutilizeproductivereportsfromthecreationofWBSwiththeuseofprojectmanagementsystemtomonitorthestatusofallpurchases,invoicinganddeliveryuptotheclosureofthe project.
• PreparetheReportProjectCostVariance(ResourceVariance,ProjectCost Report,PhysicalInvoiceandProductivityVariance).
• Responsibletocontrolandmonitorprojecttotalexpenditureincludingverifyingandcheckingofinvoicesandclaimsfromsuppliers,vendorsandsubcontractorstoensurethatallprojectexpendituresarecapturedand properlyrecorded.
• Collect&checkdailyreportfromSiteEngineer,Foreman,TimekeeperandStorekeeperregardingmanpower,materialsandmachinery.
• Enumerating,MonitoringandRecordingAllLessonsLearnedoftheProjectperScopeofWorks.
• AlltypesofjobmustfollowtheHSErulestoensuretheirsafetyduringtheirworkaspertheattachedgeneralrules.
• PerformsotherrelateddutiesasmayberequiredbyDirectManagerandSeniorCostControlEngineer.
