Job summary

Norconsult Telematics is seeking a senior professional to drive cloud core planning, lifecycle management, deployment planning and budget estimation for new monetization use-cases in a complex telecom environment.

The role requires deep expertise in 5G Standalone Core, Telco Cloud, and security, with strong stakeholder collaboration and English fluency. You will work across Cloud, IT, security, finance and vendor teams to optimize CAPEX/OPEX and service performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in telecommunications with core network exposure.
• Experience with major suppliers and CSPs is highly desirable.
• Deployment plan preparation with impact analysis and stakeholders.
• Costing analysis and budget preparation skills.
• Knowledge of 5G Standalone Core, Telco Cloud, and security requirements.
• Knowledge of network exposure, network slicing and autonomous networks.
• Strong executive reporting, dashboards, and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English with proactive collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and alignment with roadmaps.
• Develop deployment plans covering capacity, distribution, redundancy, continuity.

Position Objective

Focus on cloud core planning activities including life cycle management, deployment plan, budget estimation and introducing new monetization use‑cases.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Manage the planning and lifecycle of core network platforms including Voice, Data, Core control, Value‑Added Services VAS, Customer Experience Management CEM and Deep Packet Inspection DPI.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, optimal performance and alignment with business and technology roadmaps.
• Develop comprehensive deployment plans covering capacity dimensioning, traffic distribution, redundancy, resiliency and service continuity.
• Ensure infrastructure readiness while minimizing service disruption and maintaining performance during implementation.
• Gather, evaluate and prioritize business requirements from different stakeholders to ensure they are aligned with strategic objectives.
• Coordinate with technical and business teams to assess feasibility, dependencies and delivery timelines.
• Prepare annual and project-specific budgets for new business demands by identifying required infrastructure, software, licensing and operational resources.
• Ensure budget planning supports organizational priorities while optimizing capital and operational expenditures.
• Analyze the technical and operational impact of new business demands across network domains and supporting systems.
• Collaborate with Cloud infrastructure, Datacenter, Radio, Transport operations, IT, security, finance and vendors to identify dependencies, risks and implementation requirements.
• Develop and maintain a standardized cost catalogue for network platforms, services, hardware, software licenses and operational activities.
• Provide transparent cost references to support budgeting, business case development and investment decisions.
• Estimate the capital CAPEX and operational OPEX costs associated with new business initiatives using the cost catalogue and infrastructure requirements.
• Produce accurate financial estimates that support management approvals and demand planning.
• Identify emerging technologies and network capabilities that can create new revenue opportunities or improve customer experience.
• Work closely with business units to develop use cases, evaluate commercial viability and support the introduction of innovative telecom services.

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in telecommunication industry, with a clear in‑depth exposure on Mobile Core network.
• Experience with major suppliers and Communications Service Providers are highly desirable.
• Deployment plan preparation with impact analysis with different stake‑holders.
• Costing analysis and budget preparation skills.
• Solid knowledge about 5G Standalone Core, Telco Cloud, and security requirements.
• Good knowledge about new technologies like network exposure, network slicing and autonomous networks.
• Good knowledge of executive management reporting, presentations and dashboards concepts with good analytical skills.
• Should demonstrate a proactive and responsible approach, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders as one team, supported by strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, and fluent English language proficiency.
