Job summary

The Maaden Aluminium Company (MAC) invites applications for a Section Head Geology to lead geological programs accelerating copper resource discovery and project advancement within the Exploration & Resource Development unit.

You will craft high-confidence interpretations, oversee mapping, drilling and data integration, and guide portfolio decisions while developing the geology team and ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences or related discipline required.
• Master's degree preferred in Geology, Economic Geology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead geological programs to identify, evaluate and mature copper resource opportunities.
• Govern geological mapping, drilling, sampling, logging and interpretation to ensure technical integrity.
• Ensure timely reporting of exploration results and key geological insights.
• Maintain compliance with exploration, environmental, safety and corporate governance requirements.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing geology team to enable continuous improvement.
