Maaden is seeking a Section Head of Geology within its Exploration & Resource Development unit to lead geological programs for copper resource opportunities. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree in Geology, Economic Geology, or a related field (preferred).
• 10-12 years of relevant geological exploration experience in mining or resource development.
• Proven experience in base metals exploration, preferably copper projects.
• Experience leading geological field programs, drilling campaigns, and resource evaluation.
• Demonstrated people leadership and team development experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate exploration strategy into geological programs that accelerate copper resource discovery and project advancement.
• Identify, rank, and mature exploration targets based on geological potential, risk, and business value.
• Deliver high-confidence geological interpretations that support resource growth and project investment decisions.
• Govern geological mapping, drilling, sampling, logging, and interpretation activities to ensure technical integrity.
• Strengthen geological models through integration of field, geophysical, geochemical, and drilling data.
