Job summary

ConFlip in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia seeks a Security Analyst on a contract basis to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, protecting data and assets. This role focuses on threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.

You will work with network security tools, conduct assessments, and develop security policies. Candidates should have a bachelor's in CS, at least two years in information security, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in information security or related field.
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS, antivirus software, encryption methods.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns in data.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events from various sources including network and security tools, logs, and alerts.
• Investigate security incidents and provide timely response and resolution.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Create reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts.
