Job summary

JobLeader is seeking a Junior Accountant on a contract basis in Ash Shafa, Egypt (Egyptian Nationals Only). Responsibilities include day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries to support the month-end close.

The position offers 1,500 USD per month, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance; strong English and Arabic communication, Excel proficiency, and the ability to work independently or in a team are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
• Process employee expense reports and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
• Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.
