POSITION Consultant Neurology

QUALIFICATION MBBS MBChB or equivalent medical degree MD MS DNB Board Certification Fellowship in Neurology or equivalent recognized qualification Relevant postgraduate training in Neurology Candidates should meet the requirements for SCFHS classification at Consultant level

EXPERIENCE Minimum 3 5 years of post-specialization consultant-level experience in Neurology Experience in managing adult neurological cases and complex neurological conditions Experience in a tertiary-care or reputed hospital preferred Candidates with experience in neurophysiological investigations such as EEG EMG and NCS may be preferred depending on the employer s requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological disorders Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient neurological care Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions Develop appropriate treatment and follow-up plans Coordinate with other specialties when required Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation Participate in clinical meetings audits and quality-improvement activities Supervise and support junior medical staff
