Responsibilities

• Ensure Site Quality Plan adequacy and application at Site.
• Verify NDT, welding, painting, and corrosion inspectors activities.
• Prepare inspection books and QA/QC documents.
• Review subcontractors' Quality Systems and procedures.
• Coordinate information flow, RFIs, and non-conformities.
• Identify defects, arrange corrective actions with Site Manager.
• Plan and perform periodic audits of subcontractors.

Lead One of the Kingdom’s Most Strategic Energy Projects

We are currently seeking an exceptional Construction Quality Manager to join one of MAIRE's most strategic Saudi Aramco mega-projects in Safaniya, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This opportunity is designed for highly accomplished construction leaders who have built their careers delivering major EPC projects for Saudi Aramco and who can successfully manage large-scale site operations in demanding environments.

We are specifically looking for candidates with:

• ARAMCO approved for major EPC projects.
• Proven delivery experience on Saudi Aramco projects.
• Strong and recent experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated leadership of large multicultural construction organizations.
• Experience managing major EPC contractors, subcontractors and site interfaces.
• Deep understanding of Saudi Aramco standards, procedures, work processes, and HSE requirements.

Previous involvement in mega-projects within:

• Oil & Gas
• Refining
• The Construction Quality Manager (QAM) is appointed for major projects or for projects of particular difficulty due to the size or to the complex contractual structure, like Consortium or Joint Venture (where the Company has the leadership role).
• His/her main responsibility is to keep relations with Partners and Client to ensure that QA/QC Plan and procedures are correctly applied by all members of Consortium (if any), verify the uniformity and coordination among all members and ensure uniformity and coherence.

Activities and main responsibilities

• Ensure Site Quality Plan adequacy and application at Site, arranging any reviews, if required;
• Verify Non Destructive Test, Welding Inspectors activities, Painting & Corrosion Inspectors activities and quality control site team activities
• Ensure the proper preparation of the test, inspection reports and books
• Review Subcontractors’ site Quality System, Quality Organization and procedures
• Check the flow of information and documents, for example Request for Inspections, follow up of the activities with subcontractors, non-conformities;
• Identify any organizational or procedural defect, analyzing critical points, arranging any corrective action together with the Site Manager and informing the home office pertinent departments;
• Plan and perform periodical Audit on Subcontractors activities.
• Prepare his/her own section of the Project Monthly report.

The Construction Quality Manager operatively reports to the Site Construction Manager
