Job summary

SOLB STEEL is seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to ensure operations meet Saudi regulatory requirements in a manufacturing setting. The role involves drafting and implementing policies, conducting audits, and advising on regulatory changes across departments to maintain robust compliance programs.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in compliance auditing, strong knowledge of Saudi manufacturing regulations, and fluency in English with Arabic desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Internal Audit, or a related field.
• Certification: CIA, ISO 37301, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 6–8 years in compliance auditing, preferably within a manufacturing environment in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong understanding of Saudi regulatory requirements for manufacturing industries.
• Fluency in English; Arabic desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess compliance with regulatory and legal requirements specific to Saudi Arabia.
• Conduct compliance audits across departments to identify gaps and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Advise on regulatory developments and their implications on business operations.
• Develop, draft and assist in implementing policies and procedures tailored to the needs of different departments within the manufacturing plant.
• Assist departments in understanding and applying relevant compliance frameworks.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions on compliance-related topics.
• Support internal investigations and implement corrective action plans where non-compliance is identified.
• Maintain documentation and records to demonstrate compliance activities and audit readiness.

Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian regulatory and legal requirements applicable to manufacturing industries.

Language

Language: Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
