Jumeirah Jabal Omar in Mecca is looking for a Commis 1 - Kitchen to join our culinary team. You will gather, measure, mix and prepare ingredients, wash and chop produce, and assist with sauces and plating according to our standards.

You will maintain stock in refrigerators and freezers, help with inventory, and support the team to ensure high-quality dishes and flawless presentation in a luxury hotel setting.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients, sauces, and seasoning.
• Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and meat etc. as applicable.
• Proficient knowledge of cutting and seasoning different meats as and marination.
• Prepare dishes such as salads and sauces with finer details and exquisite presentation.
• Proficient knowledge of established recipes and plating guide provided, to exact specification.
• Ensure that the food items are stocked properly in refrigerators and freezers.
• Document inventory of kitchen supplies, and notifying supervisors of low stock situations.
