Job summary

Clarios seeks a Commercial Finance Manager META to serve as the primary finance partner for Sales and Commercial teams across the region. You will drive pricing discipline, profitability analysis, and credit risk management as the distributor and customer footprint expands in META.

Responsibilities include deal economics evaluation, contract negotiations support, and revenue/margin analysis. 30% regional travel is expected; strong Excel, ERP/CRM literacy, and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.

Your Contribution

As the Commercial Finance Manager META, you will serve as the primary finance partner to the Sales and Commercial organization across the region. You will play a critical role in driving pricing discipline, profitability analysis, and credit risk management as Clarios continues to expand its distributor and customer footprint across META. You will help ensure that commercial decisions are grounded in strong financial analysis while supporting profitable and sustainable growth across a diverse set of markets.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Finance Business Partnering

• Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to evaluate deal economics, customer profitability, and channel performance.
• Support contract, tender, and distributor agreement negotiations through financial analysis and scenario modeling.
• Deliver commercial performance reporting, including sales, margin, and channel mix analysis.

Pricing & Profitability Management

• Support the development and monitoring of pricing strategies across product lines and markets.
• Analyze the impact of tariffs, duties, and input cost movements on pricing and profitability.
• Identify margin improvement opportunities and monitor pricing compliance across the distributor network.

Credit & Risk Management

• Lead the design and administration of the regional distributor credit policy framework, including credit limits and terms.
• Coordinate credit insurance coverage and monitor exposure across priority markets.
• Manage regional accounts receivable risk, including ageing, collections support, and bad debt provisioning.

Analytics & Market Intelligence

• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track distributor performance, credit exposure, and commercial KPIs.
• Support market sizing, fleet, and competitive analysis to inform go-to-market decisions.
• Collaborate with regional Finance and Strategy teams to align commercial plans with broader business priorities.

What We Look For

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Credit Risk, or related finance functions.
• Experience within industrial, automotive, or B2B distribution environments is preferred.
• Experience working with distributors or channel partners, including pricing and credit management, is an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong financial and commercial analysis capabilities with advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Working knowledge of credit risk management and credit insurance mechanisms.
• Experience working with ERP and CRM systems as well as pricing and trade management tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and support commercial negotiations.
• Fluency in English is required. Arabic or French language skills are considered a plus.

Travel Requirements

• Up to 30% regional travel.
